What the eblockwatch black box will do for you.
Just like an aeroplane black box our eblockwatch black box records the conversation you are having with police officers who flag you down. As the officer approaches your car, you dial this number and the recording starts. For years the officers knew it was their word against yours so you were subjected to power abuse. Today our black box is empowering our members and forces police officers treat you with respect. Whatever happens between you and them is being monitored miles away by family friends and the media. As the call is terminated the messages is fired off to family and friend’s cellphones and computers.
Last week, one day after eblockwatch Police the Police campaign was aired by Carte Blanche we managed to get a husband and wife released out of Crystal Police Station after they had been arrested and put in jail for not wearing their seat belts.
How it worked. Their granny contacted eblockwatch after watching Carte Blanche the previous evening to request help. They had not registered yet but asked for assistance.
At 3 pm eblockwatch called the police who were amused that the arrest happened at 7 am and they would only be charged later in the afternoon which would ensure they spend the night in jail, as the magistrate knocked off at 4pm.
I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall after eblockwatch emailed 25,000 members to tell them what was happening in the Crystal Police Station. Minutes after the emails were filing out of our servers to our members the calls came in from our eblockwatch media members. Minutes later they started calling the police spokesperson and within ten minutes the call came from the granny to say they had been released without being charged.
We sent out a very clear message.

Please make sure all UCT and Stellenbosch students have eblockwatch black boxes on their cellphones. We have good relationships with the right people at these universities. It is free to register and remember. No black box no effort from eblockwatch to get your kid out of jail.
